I’m back. Yeah, it’s been a while—and honestly, a lot has changed for me creatively and professionally. This video is basically a reset. I started this channel around one camera, the Canon R10, and that camera built everything for me: my skills, my style, my first client, even this channel. I learned through trials, error, and a lot of mistakes… but that’s also where things started to shift. While I was gone, I wasn’t just shooting for fun—I was working on real projects with real clients and trying to figure out what I actually want to do in filmmaking. At some point I had to decide: do I keep making content about gear, or do I focus on becoming a cinematographer? For a while, I chose cinematography, and that’s what pushed me from the Canon R10 to the Sony line—first the Sony A7 IV, and now the Sony FX6 (I’m shooting on it right now). This jump isn’t just “new gear.” It’s better dynamic range, built-in ND, proper video tools—and more importantly, it forced me to take filmmaking seriously. The big takeaway: gear can level you up, but only if you’re ready to grow into it. I’m coming back to YouTube with more real filmmaking, real projects, and I want to bring you along.
