A great race to overuse the vine boom sound effect. About This Video

Good morning, racefans—Zandvoort 2025 was pure, uncut chaos and I genuinely didn’t know this track had it in it. In this Dutch GP review, I go through the whole weekend: the post-summer-break news I actually care about (yes, Checo Pérez and Valtteri Bottas to Cadillac for 2026), the absolute clown fiesta of Friday practice incidents, and a quali session that included the most predictable Stroll moment ever plus McLaren and Max trading lap records like it’s a hot potato. Then we get into the race, where the vibes were “vine boom every 30 seconds.” Max nabs P2 early, Hadjar does full world-champion-behavior defending P4, and we get safety cars, VSCs, questionable penalties (Sainz’s 10 seconds… a joke), and a Ferrari double DNF that had me asking if I’d died and gone to heaven. The turning point is Lando getting within DRS of Oscar and immediately suffering an engine failure—WAIT—which opens the door for the moment of the weekend: Isack Hadjar P3, first career podium, Simply Lovely™. I wrap up with my superlatives (Ace: Hadjar, Disgrace: Antonelli, Strategy: Haas), my 5/5 rating, and a prediction bingo update.
