Good morning, race fans. In this video I’m doing what every F1 channel does this time of year: I’m reviewing my 2025 predictions… and making fun of myself for it. Back in March (when this channel was basically a newborn), I wrote my full Constructors’ standings and my Drivers’ Champion pick, sealed it in a tiny DIY envelope, and promised Future Me we’d open it in December 2025. Well, it’s December, the envelope is here, and yes—some of these takes are painfully loud. I score it Feuno-style: 1 point if I nail the team’s exact position, and 0.5 if I’m within one spot. I end up with 4.5/10 (so close to a pass, but still a fail), mostly because I got McLaren P1 and—thank the F1 gods—Lando Norris as World Drivers’ Champion. The rest is a mix of “okay, fair” and “what on earth was I cooking,” including me being way too optimistic about Ferrari, underestimating how the midfield would actually shake out, and falling into the classic trap of over-weighting one star driver when the Constructors’ is about two cars scoring. Takeaways: testing lies, driver strength can’t always save a team, and I apparently should start judging performance by liveries more often. Also, please continue praying for Aston Martin P1 in 2026. I need it.
