About This Video

Buongiorno racefans. In this 2025 Italian GP review, I’m basically trying to survive Monza with Italian wine in hand, because wow… this race was a race. I kick things off with my very important Ferrari Design Review (yes, I know—I don’t like Ferrari, but it’s Monza), rating the Niki Lauda-inspired fireproofs a straight 10/10, giving the shirts a “nice but not interesting” 7/10, and landing the livery at an 8/10 because the golden wheel spokes are doing a lot of heavy lifting. Then we get into the weekend chaos: reserve drivers, Antonelli red flags, Hadjar out in Q1 (explain??), and George Russell doing his whole “I wanted mediums” bedtime monologue. Quali should’ve been legendary because Max set the fastest lap in F1 history… and the TV direction didn’t show it. I’m still mad. The race itself had “absolute cinema” opening laps, then quickly turned into a snooze—until McLaren gave us the Papaya Rules Part Two incident. Oscar pits first, Lando gets a six-second stop because of a mechanic error, and then the team asks Oscar to hand the place back. I unpack why that doesn’t sit right with me in a Drivers’ Championship fight, crown Max as Ace of the Race, roast Haas for the flop, and slap Monza with a painful 2/5 stars.
