So I went into Audi’s first real F1 spotlight moment hoping they’d actually bring something: less corporate waffle, more actual spectacle, and ideally drivers on-site because, come on, it’s Berlin. Before the reveal really kicked off, I dug into Audi’s freshly launched 2026 teamwear/merch and gave my honest first impressions. The vibe? Classy, minimal, a little empty (because sponsors aren’t there yet), and the grey/silver palette feels very “Audi/Mercedes coded” — which is fine, but also a bit sad. I liked the Adidas stripes for brand identity, and I went on my usual F1 merch rant: I want more driver-focused options (numbers on the back like football shirts) because most of us rep drivers more than teams. Then the event itself finally started to cook: the staging was way more immersive than I expected (yes, including the stairs situation), and the musical intro/production felt genuinely bold for a first-time F1 moment. Compared to Honda, this already looked 10x better, and I spent the stream guessing whether they’d unveil the car quickly, or do the classic “bosses talk first, drivers later” routine.
