In this video I’m unboxing and sharing first impressions of two newly released Divoom Bluetooth speakers: the Voombox Pro and the Ditoo. Divoom reached out to me to check them out, and I wanted to give you guys a proper 360 binaural sound experience so you can get a real idea of how they sound through headphones. I run the sound demos using my binaural rig (Godzilla), and I also do a walk-around so you can hear how the sound changes from the front, back, and around the room. I start with the Voombox Pro: it’s a 40W speaker, and I like that the sides are rubberized so you can sit it in a portrait position and still get sound from the front and the back. The bass isn’t super deep or “resonating,” but the attack is really good, and because there’s a driver at the back, placement near a wall/corner can help. Then I unbox the Ditoo, which I absolutely love for the creative retro pixel-art design. It’s not a loud “party speaker,” but the low-frequency thump is surprisingly good for the size, and it’s perfect for chill background music in an office, kitchen, or bedroom.
