About this presentation In this webinar, Sport NZ will talk to how its strategy is positively impacting community wellbeing with reference to key initiatives and the close link between physical activity and the broader Government wellbeing outcomes in the Living Standards Framework. Sport NZ Group Chief Executive, Raelene Castle, and Group Manager, Play Active Recreation and Sport, Jim Ellis, will talk through some of the specific focus areas that Sport NZ is working into as part of its Every Body Active strategy and explore some of the ways these positive outcomes are being measured to understand the social return on investment. Sport NZ strategy provides an example of how agencies and other organisations can use wellbeing frameworks, such as the LSF, to support understanding of their impact and inform their planning. The session will finish with some examples of cross-agency collaboration, such as the Cross-Agency Physical Activity and Play Plan, which can support better school attendance and engagement as well as opportunities that sit within the health reforms. There will be a Q&A session at the end of the webinar for any audience questions. About the presenters Raelene Castle is the Group Chief Executive of Sport New Zealand.
