Download sample brushes here: https://www.nucly.com/silhouette-movie-poster For the full silhouette brush bundle: https://www.nucly.com/silhouette-brush-bundle-sale In this tutorial, I'll show you how you can create an entire film poster with nothing more than ONE silhouette brush bundle. We're going to be creating the poster in the style of the poster for The Draw by Tom Ruddock. We'll look at using shape layers and mask properties to create glows and also how to use layer styles give three dimensional life to a flat silhouette. I'll show you how to add color to your image using a single gradient map—also giving you the flexibility to change the color of your entire poster with a click. And then we'll finish the poster with some strong film grain. Finally, because we want efficient workflows, I'll also show you how you can do all this with a smart object so that you can switch to a different silhouette without having to redo any of your work. 00:00 Introduction 30:11 Getting Started (file setup, guides, filling in background) 01:37 Building the ground plane 06:54 Creating the triangle portal 01:27 Adding the Subject 21:48 Titling 26:20 Color and Film Grain 30:24 Conclusion You can checkout my brand-new Photo Restoration Course here: https://nucly.com/photo-restoration — Don’t forget to SUBSCRIBE and turn on notifications!
