In this video I tested the KINGRACK 3 step ladder/step stool and walked through how it opens, locks, and feels under real body weight. It’s easy to open—just press down on the top step and make sure it snaps into place. Once it’s locked, you’re working with a top step height around 36 inches, steel framing, and wide pedals that look great on paper. I’m about 190 lbs, and the steel structure felt like it should be solid. But here’s the deal: in my testing, it didn’t feel safe. No matter where I set it, the feet wouldn’t all touch the ground, so it wobbled and shifted when I climbed. As I stepped, one foot would lift, then the other—so it flexes while you’re using it. If you stand dead center and stay perfectly balanced, you might be okay, but the second you lean left or get off-center, it gets wibbly. The steps themselves are a nice size (I’d still like them wider), but because it’s narrow and rickety, I’m returning it.
