This tiny pocket notebook helped me reduce phone addiction, stop doomscrolling, and clear my mind. Instead of constantly reaching for my phone, I started using a small analog notebook as a braindump and second brain — and it quietly changed how I think and focus. Most of us walk around with an overloaded mind. Thoughts, ideas, worries, reminders — all competing for attention. And almost automatically, we reach for our phone. In this video, I show how a pocket notebook, not an app or productivity system, helped me lose fewer thoughts, reduce mindless phone scrolling, and feel mentally lighter. This is not about journaling routines, aesthetic planners, or complex productivity systems. It’s about lowering friction — making it so easy to write something down that your brain can finally rest. I explain why most notebooks fail, why size matters more than you think, and how carrying a palm-sized notebook everywhere slowly replaced my habit of reaching for my phone. I also show how I use it as a braindump / second brain — for ideas, stress levels, sleep, notes from conversations, and anything I don’t want to keep in my head. Sometimes, I even leave the house without my phone — just this notebook. And surprisingly, it works. If you’re overwhelmed, distracted, tired of doomscrolling, or looking for a simple analog alternative to digital notes, this video might give you a new perspective. 👇 Let me know in the comments: Do you use analog notes? About This Video

Most of us walk around with a constantly overloaded head—thoughts, ideas, worries, little “don’t forget this” reminders. And the moment something slips, we almost automatically reach for the phone. In this video I share one small, slightly boring thing that unexpectedly helped me stop losing thoughts, reach for my phone less, and actually use it every single day: a tiny pocket notebook. The key isn’t “having a notebook.” I’ve had notebooks before. The key is size and friction. Most notebooks are too big unless you carry a backpack (and I usually don’t), and the moment you have to dig it out, find a pen, open it… you’ll write nothing, and the thought disappears. So I switched to a palm-sized black notebook that fits in any pocket, and I paired it with a telescopic pen fixed inside with a binder clip—so the pen is always there. I use it as a braindump / second brain for everything: to-dos, ideas, mood, stress, sleep, notes from conversations, quick calculations—anything I don’t want to keep in my head. Later, only the important stuff gets transferred to my digital system (Notion). Sometimes I even leave the house without my phone—just the notebook—and it’s weirdly pleasant because it doesn’t demand attention, doesn’t distract, and has no agenda.
