In this video, I finally show what’s inside my Altoids-style EDC tin — a tiny metal box packed with everyday carry essentials that I actually use. Recently, I shared my EDC for 2026, but one item stayed a mystery: a small candy tin filled with practical tools. This video is the full breakdown. From a compact flashlight and USB-C cable to backup cash, band-aids, and random items that somehow make sense when you need them most. People often call this setup an Altoids EDC, because it’s usually built inside an Altoids mint tin. Since Altoids aren’t really available where I live, I used a similar metal tin — same idea, same philosophy. This isn’t a “tactical” or over-the-top survival kit. It’s a minimal, realistic EDC tin for everyday life: fixing small problems, staying prepared, and carrying less while being ready for more. If you’re into EDC gear, minimal everyday carry, pocket organization, or just curious what fits into a tiny metal box — this one’s for you. Let me know in the comments what you’d add or remove from this setup. This is just the first iteration. About This Video

In this video I finally open up the little candy tin I teased in my EDC for 2026 — the “Altoids EDC” idea, just without the Altoids. Altoids aren’t really available where I live, so I ordered a similar metal tin (same shape, same material) and packed it with the kind of small, realistic items that usually end up scattered across jacket pockets. This isn’t a tactical survival fantasy kit. It’s my minimal, urban “fix small problems fast” box. I go top to bottom through what’s inside: cut-up cotton swabs in an airtight bag, a USB-to-USB‑C cable for emergency charging, a compact refillable Clipper lighter my brother gave me, spare mini baggies, and a tiny rechargeable flashlight with multiple modes and a magnet so I can stick it to metal and work hands-free. Then it’s the practical stuff: toothpick, long-lasting gum, a couple euro coins (vending coffee + shopping cart), a small roll of electrical tape for micro breakages, a 4GB memory card with USB adapter for offline file transfers, a telescopic pen with a magnet, band-aids, alcohol pads (also great for lenses/screens), backup cash, a small nail file, a screen cloth, and even a piece of cardboard for writing. It’s my first iteration, and I’m still missing a proper mini multi-tool (Gerber Dime vs Leatherman Micro, maybe). I want your feedback on what to cut, what to add, and what actually earns its spot in a tiny tin.
