I’m late to the party, but I’m on time when I get there—and today I’m finally giving you my full wear test and honest review of Lattafa Angham Second Song. First things first: do not let the name confuse you. The original Angham (the one everybody knows) is that vanilla-lavender vibe and, to me, it’s a completely different fragrance—apples and oranges. Second Song is singing a whole different tune: fresh, fruity, floral, and honestly the epitome of springtime. It’s pretty, a little sheer, and the peony is the star of the show for my nose. I also compare it directly to Dolce & Gabbana Devotion (because yes, that’s what it’s inspired by). Side by side, Second Song opens brighter and lighter—likely from that bergamot—while Devotion feels more full-bodied to me, probably because of the black currant in the opening. I’m not calling Second Song bad at all, but I do get a slightly synthetic vibe that I can’t fully place (maybe the ambroxan), and it made me wonder if my bottle just needs to sit. Longevity on my skin has been about 5–6 hours, and I’m not getting that “Lattafa beast mode” reputation—at least not yet.
