I talk through the ones I truly regret not backing up, like Vanille Intense (the soft, subtle vanilla that’s signature-scent worthy if you hate super cakey gourmands) and BO’s Vanille Antique Extrait—aka the one they swear is “the same” after the reformulation, but I’m telling you it is not. I also get into Tom Ford Metallique (unisex, metallic, a little solar), MAC Crème d’Nude (clean-girl creamy skin scent), and the one that had to show up: YSL Libre Le Parfum/Vanille Couture—yes, I backed it up, and yes, y’all should’ve too. And then there’s Ex Nihilo Scarlet Sands—Dubai-exclusive, in-and-out of stock, registry-only energy. It’s not “church floral,” it’s coronation. The takeaway: if you love it and it’s limited, don’t assume you have time—because sometimes the brands be for real, for real.
