Spring is here, so I had to get back in my Middle Eastern fragrance bag. In this video I’m sharing a mini haul—some PR, some purchases—and giving you my real thoughts on what’s actually worth your money. I start with Libre by Gulf Orchid (Mason Azar), and I’m not gonna lie… the bottle and the juice are not speaking the same language. The bottle is giving bright springtime, but the scent wears warm, woody, spicy, and powdery—very unisex, and honestly a bit confusing in the best and worst way. Then we get into Linked by Afnan (the feminine). The scent itself is beautiful and, to my nose, very close to Donna Born in Roma (the gold). But my bottle had me shook because there’s a blue flake—like a cloth-looking piece—floating in the juice, plus other little particles. It made me question quality control with how fast new releases are being pumped out, especially when returns aren’t always easy. I also share three Paris Corner body sprays (marketed as deodorants, but they’re really fine-mist fragrance sprays) in Marshmallow Blush, Cahir Pistachio, and Felicity—perfect for layering and gifting. And I wrap with Matcha Latte by Gulf Orchid: creamy, almondy matcha that’s soft, calming, and more “library/museum/book club” than “night out.”
