I break down Freedom Musk Bouquet as a very pretty, soft floral with a creamy touch (that ylang-ylang can do that), plus a musky feel that reads a little mature to me—almost like a luxury hotel bathroom scent. Freedom Musk Santal is the one they released in the full-size first, and while people compare it to Valaya, I think it goes in its own direction: delicate floral, musky, and a little warm from that candied amber. Freedom Musk Matcha had me on the fence—on my skin it leans play-dohy/fresh plain popcorn, and it’s not my favorite, but I can see it working as a layering piece. And Freedom Musk Latte evolves the most on me—whipped, soft rose, a denser drydown—sometimes I love it, sometimes I’m just like, okay, this is nice. My final ranking: Musk Santal, Musk Bouquet, Musk Latte, then Musk Matcha.
