I share my real first impressions (no hype) on everything from Goldfield & Banks Silky Woods (dense, resinous vanilla with suede/oud vibes that isn’t loud, but smells amazing) to Tom Ford Lost Cherry—yes, the viral almond-cherry that people love to hate for longevity, but I still adore it. And I’m telling you exactly why I was happy with my wear time on it, especially considering I found it for a designer-type price at Costco. I also unbox one of the prettiest sandalwoods I’ve smelled so far: Santal de Paris. It’s soft, powdery, slightly sweet, and honestly gives “top 10 for life” energy—year-round, interview-to-brunch friendly, and just…bewildering in the best way.
