In today’s video, I’m doing a little bit of everything—cleaning, decluttering, and organizing—but the main event is Chris’s closet… and y’all, it was basically a dumpster fire. We pulled every single thing out so we could take real inventory, and then we went rapid fire: yes, no, donate, or set aside. My goal was simple—help him feel comfortable and confident in what he actually wears, and make it where he can walk into his closet and grab what he needs fast (because that’s how you truly get your time back). I’m sharing the mindset shifts that have helped me the most: if the house is burning down, are you running in to grab it? If it got stained (and yes, I said poo), would you do the work to clean it or replace it with the exact same thing? If not, it’s okay to let it go. Items don’t have feelings, and you don’t have to keep something just because someone gave it to you. This was a two-day reset with budget-friendly solutions—using what we already had, adding a few simple organizers, wiping everything down (dust is everywhere), and creating a system Chris can actually maintain. The after is unreal, and seeing him excited to get ready in the morning made it so worth it.
