About This Video

Hey y’all—today I’m tackling what has been weighing on me for months: two refrigerators and three freezers that were absolutely filthy and left way too long. I start in our main kitchen fridge by pulling every single thing out so I can actually see what we have, toss anything expired (yes, there was mold), and then deep clean it top to bottom. One of my biggest tips is to vacuum the crumbs out first—because if you go in with a rag, it just turns into a mushy, gross mess. After that, I keep it simple with hot water and soap when I just need a true clean and fresh start. Then I move into freezer organization and the garage fridge situation… and y’all, it was out of sight, out of mind to the max. Rotten food, gnats on the bottom, and grime I could not believe we let get that far. I used a disinfecting solution in a spray bottle and let it soak, and I focused on getting it clean and functional instead of getting distracted by “extra fancy” labels or buying more bins. I also share some easy restock ideas—like snackle boxes for prepped fruits and veggies and quick grab-and-go salad containers—because when it’s ready, we’re way more likely to actually eat it. If you’re feeling stuck, my biggest takeaway is this: just start. Momentum is everything.
