Hey guys, welcome back to my channel! It's been a while! Today's video is all about homemade cold process soap. I'm new to this craft but I have to say, it's been an incredible experience. Making soap from scratch has become a therapeutic and stress-relieving activity for me, and I'm excited to share my journey with you. I started my soap-making journey in January of this year with a melt and pour base, but I quickly realised that it wasn't giving me the results I wanted. That's when I decided to try my hand at cold process soap making. The process involves mixing oils and lye to create a chemical reaction that produces soap. It might sound intimidating, but trust me, it's easier than you think! The great thing about making soap from scratch is that you have full control over the ingredients. You can choose your oils, scents, and colours, making each batch completely unique. I've experimented with different oils like coconut, olive, and sunflower, and each one has its own benefits for the skin. I adore the creativity involved in making soap. You can experiment with various colors and textures to create beautiful swirls and patterns, something which I have yet to try. Natural colors and essential oils are my go-to ingredients. Once the soap cures, it's like a work of art that I can use every day. I particularly love the moment when I get to cut it!
