Contrary to popular belief, experience isn't the ONLY thing recruiters look for on a resume when deciding whether someone is a good fit. BUT, there are some cases when you should pass on a job if you don't meet the experience qualifications. Ideally, you want to have at least 60-70% of the experience and qualifications hiring managers require. Also, you want to make sure you are familiar with the takes and responsibilities they are requesting.
