I wanted to be a CEO, make a lofty salary, and have a seat at the table with the "big dogs". 7 years later, I've decided to pass on those dreams entirely. Not because I'm discouraged, but because after experiencing some brutal, eye-opening situations, I realize that those career goals just aren't for me anymore.
