Hi guys, welcome back to another video—this is Vlogmas Day 2, and I’m taking y’all along with me for a real-life holiday weekend. It’s Saturday, and my husband and I are getting ready to head out and do a little Christmas shopping for my son. I also wanted to include a few Thanksgiving clips so you can get a little sneak peek of our family time and all the good food—turkey, ham, greens, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, deviled eggs… everything was looking so good. I also share a little self-care moment before we head out, because when it gets cold (and we’ve been dropping into the 30s and 40s), you really have to keep that skin moisturized. I show what I put on my braids, lay my edges, and share my scent of the day. Then we get into some cozy homemaking motivation—getting my bed together and bringing some festiveness into my room by putting on my Christmas comforter that I got from Walmart last year. I’m also on the hunt for new pillow covers and maybe a red blanket for the foot of my bed, just to finish the whole cozy holiday vibe.
