In today’s spring daily vlog, I’m taking y’all along with me on a beautiful Saturday here in Alabama—one of those days where you just want to get out, handle what you need to handle, and still pour back into yourself. After last week’s crazy “all four seasons in one day” weather (snow flurries, tornadoes, rain, wind… all of it), I’m hoping that last cold snap is gone because the trees are blooming and the pollen is falling. My car was covered, so the first stop was a quick car wash just to rinse all that pollen off so I can ride with my windows down. From there, it was time for some self-care because I’m ready to whip out the sandals—so I went and got a much-needed pedicure. Then I tried to be strong, but y’all know… I ended up at Target looking for the jelly slip-in sandals I saw Faith Marie Unscripted share. Target didn’t have my size in store, so I’ll be ordering them online, and I also popped into TJ Maxx briefly (they were still putting spring out). I wrapped the day with real life too—gassing up at Sam’s and heading to my dad’s to refill his medicine box—then later hubby and I went out for a little date night catfish.
