In this Morning Chit Chat Live, I’m on my way to work doing what I normally do—turning on the live, running up my watch hours, and hanging out with y’all for a quick real-life check-in. It was a cold Thursday morning (around 39–41°), but it was looking like it would warm up once the sun came out. I asked y’all to let me know where you’re tapping in from, thumbs up the live, and drop comments (even on the replay), because engagement really does matter. I also talked a little bit about Christmas coming up and how the Christmas spirit hasn’t fully hit me yet. I’m planning to finish up my Christmas shopping this weekend, and I want to stop in Old Navy to see if I can find my son some nice hoodies—he’s older now and not asking for much, and kids today are so into electronics compared to when we grew up. I shared that we’re hoping to go see Christmas lights this weekend (and yes, I plan to film it). I also gave my take on connecting across communities on YouTube—how it’s okay to cross over, support other creators, and actually speak in the chat instead of silently watching. And of course we talked Christmas movies too: I’ve been loving the Hallmark movies, and Home Alone will always be my all-time favorite.
