Good morning, y’all—this was one of my early morning lives on my way to work (yes, I was running a tad bit behind because I almost overslept). We were two days away from Thanksgiving, chatting about the weather being way too warm, the rain rolling in, and just checking in with my regular supporters. I also shared why I like doing these morning lives because it’s more interactive than my silent lives, and it helps me connect with y’all in real time. We got into Thanksgiving prep talk, Black Friday shopping, and I told y’all I’m planning to post some Black Friday shorts—plus I reminded you about my Wayfair “Merry and Bright” Christmas collection and deals I’ll be adding. We even talked favorite cakes (I love a good red velvet cake with that pink icing), and I shared a personal update: I’m about one month into taking semaglutide for weight loss, under my primary care doctor’s guidance, and I’m down 14 pounds. I also talked about cutting out soda (I was a Coca-Cola fanatic) and how that adjustment really hit me at first. Before hopping off to clock in, I mentioned I may go live on Thanksgiving, and I’m considering showing y’all how I make my turkey and dressing for my husband.
