In this festive NYC vlog, I’m spending Black Friday in the city with my mom after a super full (and very food-heavy) Thanksgiving. We started the day with a workout, then I showed you guys the reality of holiday leftovers—our fridge was absolutely packed, and we basically committed to eating Thanksgiving food for lunch and dinner for the next week. After we ate and got ready, we headed into Manhattan to do all the cozy holiday things: Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park Winter Village, and just soaking up the holiday energy. We kept it pretty simple—no big shopping plans, just exploring. I talked about how I always feel a little bad browsing small business vendor tents when I don’t want to buy anything (because everything is cute but also can be pricey). At Rockefeller Center, the tree wasn’t lit yet (they light it on December 3rd), but we still got to see it and watch the ice skating. There was also a really cool lighting/music show on the building that felt like a NYC version of a fountain show. I also shared my winter essentials update—my new long H&M coat ended up being such a good buy (especially compared to a lighter, way more expensive Uniqlo option), and I’m officially in “okay, now we can decorate for Christmas” mode. Family time, holiday vibes, and getting ready for an East Coast winter—this vlog was exactly that.
