It’s 8:00 a.m., it’s snowing, and I have absolutely no business outside—so I turned this into a cozy, stay-inside-and-don’t-spend-money productive vlog. I start my morning with matcha, knock out the thing I dread most (folding and putting away laundry), and then get into editing because I took a break from posting when work got really busy. I also share some behind-the-scenes on my workflow: I edit in Final Cut Pro and make my thumbnails in Picsart before scheduling everything in YouTube Studio. While I’m importing clips, I get real about something that’s been on my mind: my recent travel vlogs (including my China series) haven’t been performing the way I expected, and it has me questioning whether I should keep filming trips for YouTube or focus travel content more on Instagram. I talk through the mental back-and-forth, ask for your feedback, and then shift into trip-planning mode for my upcoming birthday vacation using my Notion travel planner (I time-box it for 40 minutes so I don’t spiral). To wrap up the day, I do a 30-minute HIIT workout (after running and walking the day before… so yes, I’m expecting to be sore), shower, and finally pick up my crochet project again—making my mom a headband and relearning stitches with a quick tutorial. Then it’s wind-down time: bed and reading until I fall asleep.
