In this video I’m sharing 13 stunning new fragrances (and a couple fragrancy extras) that have earned a spot in my collection because they smell modern, elegant, and quietly luxe. I’m talking fresh minty zests like Pernoire Yuma (very refreshing, definitely unisex but leaning masculine to my nose), soft grounding woods like I’ve Known Giants (citrus + evergreens + incense, calming and natural), and a total new obsession from Zernell Gillie—Disco—which starts green and tea-like, then warms into this sensual lavender/vanilla/tobacco moment that is just so fun to wear. I also get into a few bottles that surprised me once I actually wore them on skin. Libra’s Amber Sunset is a perfect example—my sample didn’t wow me, but the full bottle is gorgeous: modern amber with a whisper of apricot/osmanthus, saffron, smooth iris, sandalwood, and a hint of leather. If you’re into violet/iris/sandalwood territory, Unframe is a green violet with sandalwood as the star, and Cuir Ottoman is powdery iris with a soft leather-ambery feel. And yes, I had to mention The Vibration by NEH—if you love that Delina DNA, this is in that family (tart rhubarb-rose), but with more citrus and a slightly powdery, musky vibe. Overall, everything here feels understated, sophisticated, and very “modern perfumery,” and I’m so excited to keep exploring these discovery sets.
