Affordable fragrance is having a moment right now (and honestly, I love to see it). In this video I share three spring-perfect, signature-scent-worthy picks that are not dupes. They’re also not Middle Eastern fragrances (even though that side of the industry is booming), but they still deliver that “smells expensive” vibe without the price tag. First up is Quatre by Boucheron, a classy citrusy musk that feels refreshing, relaxed, and still very sophisticated. It opens with citrus, has a touch of rose, and gives me a slightly aquatic/musky vibe—plus it’s long lasting. Then I talk about Lalique Amethyst, which to my nose smells like an unsweetened berry tea: berries, greenness, and a bit of woodiness, but not in a sweet, typical berry way. It’s intoxicating, elegant, a little ethereal, and definitely more “different” than mass appealing. Finally, Trussardi Donna is the sweetest of the three and my “freshy for a non-freshy lover,” with yuzu and lemon over smooth white florals and a little woodiness—also the longest lasting on me at around 10 hours.
