#stealthcamping #carcamping #solofemaletravel Ever wondered why I choose to camp in my SUV, sleep in parking lots, cook outside in the cold, or hit the road alone? This video answers every single question you asked on my last stealth-camping vlog — from safety, ventilation, condensation, and “Do you pee in a bottle?” to the big ones: “Are you poor?” and “Are you homeless?” Spoiler: I do this because I love adventure, freedom, nature, and exploring without rules, reservations, or $60 campground fees. And yes — I’m married. And no — I don’t live in my car full-time. In this video, I take you on a late-fall hike at Whiskey Rapids Trail, look for a campsite, cook dinner, measure out the sleeping space in my RAV4, talk honestly about safety as a solo female traveler, how I shower on the road, and why this lifestyle brings me so much joy. If you enjoy solo female car camping, stealth camping, SUV camping setups, or just want to understand the lifestyle a bit better — welcome. You’re in the right place. Subscribe for more adventures, overnight camping, gear tests, backcountry trips, and honest conversations about this lifestyle. About This Video

People see me sleeping in my SUV, cooking dinner in a parking lot, or quietly slipping into a spot for the night and they jump straight to: “Are you homeless?” or “Are you poor?” So in this video I just answer it all — honestly. I’m out on a late-fall hike at Whiskey Rapids Trail, then I walk you through why I stealth camp, what it costs to travel this way, and the difference between car camping by choice versus doing it because you have no other option. And for the record: I’m married, I’m not living in my car full-time, and I’m not doing this because I’m desperate — I’m doing it because I love the freedom. I also get super practical: ventilation, condensation, safety as a solo female traveler, and yes — the bathroom question. I show how I think about sleeping space in my RAV4 (including measuring it out), how I handle showers on the road, and where I’m actually comfortable stopping for the night (parks, truck stops, gyms, etc.). It’s part gear-and-logistics, part mindset — and mostly just me trying to explain why this “weird” lifestyle brings me so much joy.
