In this video I’m sharing what we call “Together Time” (you might know it as Morning Time or a Morning Basket) and how it helps me cover our family subjects in a way that feels calmer and more doable. Instead of trying to juggle a bunch of separate lessons for every child right away, I like to start by gathering everyone together and checking off the things we can learn as a group. It’s one of my favorite ways to reduce stress, save time, and set a good tone for the day. I walk you through what Together Time looks like in our homeschool and why I think it works so well—especially if you’re trying to fit in multiple subjects without feeling like your day is slipping away. I also share practical tips to help you get started, whether you’re brand new to Morning Time or you’ve tried it before and it didn’t stick. The goal is simple: make family learning consistent, enjoyable, and sustainable, so you can spend less time scrambling and more time actually learning together.
