In this video, I’m sharing an honest update on what it’s been like transitioning my kids from homeschool to traditional school—what’s working, what’s been hard, and the pros and cons I didn’t fully understand until we were living it. I also share what I’m doing at home to supplement their education, because I truly believe that even if our children are in public or private school, we’re still responsible to oversee their education. I’m continuing to apply homeschool principles in our home through targeted skill-building and rich learning—things like Math-U-See for solid foundations, IXL for extra practice, Learning Language Arts Through Literature for gentle language arts, Story of the World for history, and even Rosetta Stone for language exposure.
