In this classroom setup 2024 video (part 2 of my new classroom theme project), I’m back in my room doing the not-so-pretty but totally necessary work—taking down bulletin boards, clearing what’s outdated, and getting a fresh slate so I can actually see what I’m working with. I’m a third grade teacher in Maine, and this is the kind of setup progress that makes the rest of the decorating and organizing feel doable. I also spend time looking at books and thinking through what I want to keep, what needs a new spot, and what will make the most sense for my students this year.
