In this video I’m sharing some of the classroom changes I made this year—what actually worked, what totally flopped, and what I’m already thinking about tweaking for next year. As a third grade teacher (and a mom balancing all the things at home, too), I’m always trying to find systems that make our days smoother without adding a ton of extra work for me. I walk you through the new strategies I tested, the routines I adjusted, and the little shifts that made a bigger difference than I expected. I also talk honestly about the “hits and misses” side of teaching—because not everything you try is going to be the magic solution, and that’s okay. My goal is always to keep refining what supports my students and keeps our classroom running calmly and efficiently.
