

Making tables is fun and pretty easy to do which is why I decided to upgrade out entryway table to one that better fits our lifestyle, and I wanted to try a few new ideas, like making a table with hard lines, not a lot of soft round-overs like you can easily get with a trim router, I also wanted a thicker top to give the table a more sturdy look, and I wanted to experiment with different kinds of wood in the same build to add contrast by using walnut and maple, and of course there were drawers and shelves, but I also wanted the have a back piece along the top to prevent damage to walls which can happen with entry way tables.
