

Woodworking jigs and techniques are a lot of what make woodworking fun, even when you need to invent new jigs and discover new ways of doing things, the sense of accomplishment is high, in this video I am tackling somewhat easier, weekend project, a luggage stand, that can do much more, I started off with some rough cut Garry Oak wood and the tool use is extensive, beginning with a circular saw to break the lumber down, then hand plane it somewhat flat, then progressing to the jointer, the thickness planer and finally the table saw to get sized lumber, then later the bandsaw, mitre saw and router table to make half round cross pieces or stretchers, the whole project was fun to watch come together and finally topped with some jet black 3 inch webbing and in not time it's done.
