I’ve been using Logic Pro for years, and Logic Pro 11.2 just fixed three things that have always slowed me down. In this video I’m showing you the exact updates that made my workflow way easier in real sessions—especially when you’re dealing with 30+ tracks and you’re trying to stay creative instead of getting lost scrolling and clicking around. First up is Track Search in the mixer. In older versions, finding one bus, sidechain input, or random track was honestly a nightmare. Now I can just hit my own key command, type what I need (strings, vocals, whatever), and jump straight to it. Second is Long Faders—something I didn’t even realize I needed until I updated. When faders are short and you’re down near the bottom, tiny moves can turn into 2–3 dB changes. Long faders feel more open and make small level moves way more precise. And the big one: Flashback Capture. This is going to save you from heartbreak—artists freestyling, warming up, or you playing keys and forgetting to hit record. Now you can capture what just happened and keep the take. It might need a little syncing after, but at least you didn’t lose the idea.
