In this video I’m sharing my final thoughts on a bunch of viral/new-to-me makeup I’ve actually had time to test since my first impressions try-on. I’m talking powders, foundation, concealer, bronzer/contour, blush, lips, eyes, and setting spray—basically a full face of “is it worth it?” with the real wear test results. I’m super picky about base products because I have textured skin, so I’m always looking for that smooth, blurred, airbrushed finish. My biggest standouts were the Makeup Forever HD Skin Perfecting Pressed Powder (I’m genuinely shocked how much I love it), the Benefit Porefessional Foundation, and the Tower 28 serum concealer—which is wild because I normally do not like serum concealers. I also loved the Glossier Cloud Paint Plush Blush for my everyday peachy vibe, and the Kosas highlighter for that subtle “wet look” glow. There were a couple misses too: the One/Size powder didn’t give me the blur I want and the shade pulled too dark/patchy on me, and the Makeup by Mario Jelly Jar balm was just too sticky and not pigmented enough for cheeks (cute on lips though).
