In this video I’m doing a full face of new makeup and giving you my honest first impressions as I go. I prepped with my everyday Glow Recipe Dewy SPF (because I know and trust it) so I could really judge how the new complexion products perform. I tested the NARS Natural Matte Longwear Foundation in Siberia and the Makeup Forever HD Full Cover Concealer together, and I was honestly impressed right away—smooth, great coverage, and a really nice natural finish (not super matte, not glowy). As someone with combination, acne-prone skin and current breakouts, I loved how even and “clean” my skin looked without feeling heavy. From there I tried a mix of cream and powder products, and I’ll be real: a couple were “I need to play with this more” formulas. The Morphe bronzer stick and the Makeup Forever liquid blush both looked nice once they were on, but they felt a bit drier and I had to work fast to blend. On the other hand, the Morphe highlighter stick was a standout—it worked under powder and on top of powder without lifting anything, and it gave the prettiest natural glow. I also tested Saie’s baked setting powder and baked bronzer (go in with a light hand—she’s pigmented), did a more natural brow with the Anastasia brow pen + Maybelline gel, and finished with the YSL Lash Latex mascara (my lashes looked insane) plus a cool-toned pink lip with Makeup Forever Wherever Walnut Light and Rhode Peptide Lip Boost.
