Not every day is a glorious day when it comes to finds at the beach. When I have downer days like this one, I like to go to a park shortly thereafter, because I feel I'm more likely to find something of value. In this video, I went to Long Beach to metal detect in the sands. I left my DetectorPro Underwater in my bro-in-law's car so I wasn't able to metal detect in the water...but this would have been a great beach for that, only because it was very flat after the water crests...this means anything lost will likely stay in that area...sinking down a few inches, of course. This was also a pretty trashy beach. I did my duty as a detectorist and cleaned up my area, though. Although not a great day at the beach, I hope you enjoy the video none-the-less.
