A day after getting off the Catalina Express in Avalon on Catalina Island, off the coast of California, I decided to go early in the morning to the beach frequented most for swimming. All I found was a bunch of coins until I went back over to the main beach in the marina. I was about to head back to the condo, but instead, I took one last run over and found my first gold ring...gold plated, but gold nonetheless! One of the tools that makes metal detecting much easier on me other than my Garrett Ace 250 is my Bullseye TRX. I love that pinpointer!
