Metal Detecting Day One on Catalina Island, Avalon Beach

After getting off the Catalina Express in Avalon on Catalina Island, off the coast of California, it was low tide. It was too early to check in to the condo we were renting that weekend, so the wife let me do some metal detecting. Good thing! I found some good ol' Sterling Silver with an Opal in-lay! Nice find!
