In a 24 hour period, I metal detected for one hour in 5 states each. I started my journey in Lowell, Arkansas at 9am and made it to Pryor, Oklahoma before sundown. After Oklahoma is Texas. I was tired, so I slept for about 6 hours about 30 miles east of the Texas border. It was interesting to see all the different soil types. The southern states had received some moisture a couple days prior to my trip, making the ground much easier to dig in. In Oklahoma, I was more discriminatory, in that I focused mainly on quarters and silver. Later, I opened it up to dimes, and of course, that made me find copper pennies. I don't know what the other metal thing was that I found, but hey...that happens all the time :) I detected using my Garrett Ace 250 and White's Bullseye TRX. I filmed using a Galaxy S3 and edited using Window's Movie Maker.
