I started my day in Lowell, Arkansas around 9am, made it up to Joplin, Missouri, then headed to Baxter Springs, Kansas where an elementary school used to stand. The children you see in the video told me that a tornado destroyed the school that was in Baxter Springs. After the school was removed, they told me a couple homes were placed on the property but didn't last long before they were removed as well. There is a historical museum a few blocks away. I found a few items that were likely from over 40 years ago, but again, no silver coins. I detected with my Garrett Ace 250, White's Bullseye TRX pinpointer, filmed with a Galaxy S3, and edited the video with Window's Movie Maker. I greatly enjoyed hitting up these sites. It was quite a challenge to hit 5 states in under 24 hours, considering I required myself to detect for no less than 1 hour at each site and slept in Oklahoma for about 6 hours on the side of the road. Coming up next? Pryor, Oklahoma!
