About This Video

In this vlog, I’m taking you guys along as I get ready for what literally felt like the biggest wedding in Africa—Simmy and Femi’s wedding in Lagos. From the jump, it was giving “over and above” energy, and I was genuinely excited because I’ve known Simmy since our Morocco brand trip days. I’m doing the full pre-wedding prep with you: self-care, changing my nails (and yes, my nail tech accidentally dropped my camera and my SD card stopped working… I had to buy another one on the spot), and trying to stay snatched because babes, we’re not stepping out to look anyhow. I also talked about my fitness reality—how I decided to pause the gym for a bit because I was tired and not seeing the lower belly changes I wanted. So I switched to long walks, tracked my steps (I hit over 9k just walking), then rushed into glam. My makeup came out so pretty, my outfit (my Asoebi made by JTB—yes, my brand) was decent and cute, and I headed to the venue late because Lagos events will humble you. At the wedding, it was pure vibes—stylish people, money energy, and that luxury Lagos party feel. I didn’t even capture everything because I was busy talking, dancing, and enjoying myself. I ended the night filming extra brand content because if makeup is eating at midnight, I’m using it—period.
