About This Video

Happy new month, guys. In this realistic mom vlog, I’m literally doing Lagos mom life the way it is—busy, hot, and full of movement. I’m getting myself ready in “count 1 to 20” time (because who has time?), packing my essentials, and heading out with the kids for Jeremy’s pool birthday party. I’m surrounded by moms with kids and I love that for me, and yes—I’m that “military mom” that has been training her kids to swim, so a pool party doesn’t send me into panic mode. After the pool party chaos, I’m back into full home mode because we have swim class the next day and I also need to cook. I share how I’m making Banga soup from scratch (it had been about a year, and my husband reminded me we need it again). My girls got fresh ingredients from the market, including a bucket of banga, and I’m already dreaming of pairing it with oat swallow. I also prioritize self-care and finally get a facial because I’m acne prone and my face is not going to take care of itself. I talk about how painful it can be (I screamed today), but I’m trying to make facials a monthly lifestyle—especially with important events and vacations coming up, because skin has to be right too.
