A nice weekday ride at North Carolina Motorsports Park on my 2025 Yamaha YZ250. I hadn't hit motocross jumps or ridden a proper motocross track in about two years. I managed to stay safe, progress, and have a good time! About This Video

I headed out for a chill weekday ride at North Carolina Motorsports Park (NCMP) on my 2025 Yamaha YZ250, and this one was all about getting my feet back under me. I hadn’t hit real motocross jumps or ridden a proper track in about two years, so I took it slow—checking out the main track first, then working my way onto the intermediate track to start jumping a smaller table before stepping it up. Once I felt a little more comfortable, I started trying more jumps and dealing with ruts on the main track. The big takeaway here is progression without doing anything dumb: roll it, watch lines, build confidence, and keep it safe. There’s also a fun moment where I stop and watch a kid absolutely rip on a small bike… and then I get roosted for my trouble. I do have one moment where I overshoot to flat on the small table, but overall I kept it together, learned a lot, and had a really solid day back on a moto track.
