This sand track was not what I was expecting. I crashed. I got humbled. I got up. I progressed. I had a lot of fun riding my YZ250 wide open (some of the time lol). I hope you all enjoy. About This Video

I pulled up to Blackjack MX thinking I kinda knew what I was getting into… and yeah, this sand track humbled me fast. In this video I start with some sight laps to feel out the lines, the traction, and how sketchy sand can get when you’re not used to it. Pretty early on I end up dropping the bike, and later I overshoot to flat—classic reminder that sand will punish you if you get lazy with body position and throttle control. But the whole point is I didn’t pack it up after the mistakes. I got up, kept riding, and started figuring it out lap by lap. I had moments where I was actually riding my 2025 YZ250 wide open (some of the time lol), and the big win for me was finally clearing the three set for the first time—then backing it up again later. If you’re learning sand, this one’s basically my real-time progress report: crashes, corrections, and the payoff when it finally starts to click.
