In this video I show you the easiest way to install RDP Wrapper on Windows 11 (2025 update) using the updated SobieskiCodes GitHub repo. The best part is: no more manual patching, no INI edits, and no guessing after Windows updates. I’m doing this on a fresh Windows 11 build with admin rights and internet, and I also set a static local IP because I want to access this PC from another machine over Remote Desktop. I walk you through downloading the ZIP from GitHub, temporarily disabling Windows Defender (only for personal/lab use), and then running rdpw_installer as Administrator so it installs everything automatically. After that, I verify the status in rdpconf.exe where you should see the wrapper installed, service running, and the listener “listening / fully supported.” Then I cover the practical setup: Remote Desktop settings, firewall rules (for the demo I turn the firewall off), enabling Network Level Authentication for better security, and creating multiple local users. Finally, I test multiple concurrent RDP logins from another PC and show how each user gets their own session on the same Windows machine—useful for labs and even running apps like Tally Prime for multiple users. If a Windows update breaks it, my troubleshooting is simple: uninstall and reinstall the tool to restore support.
