मैंने GitHub के InvoiceShelf/docker repo से docker-compose file ली और Portainer में नया stack बनाकर deploy किया। Deploy के बाद browser में port 90 पर open करके installation wizard complete किया। इसमें DB details, URL, और basic admin/company setup भरना होता है।

InvoiceShelf के लिए कौन सा database बेहतर है: MySQL या PostgreSQL?

इस वीडियो में मैंने PostgreSQL वाला compose use करके दिखाया है। आपके environment के हिसाब से आप MySQL या PostgreSQL चुन सकते हैं—repo में अलग-अलग compose files मिलती हैं। Main बात ये है कि DB credentials और app के environment variables में password/DB settings match रहें।

Portainer में InvoiceShelf stack deploy करते समय क्या-क्या change करना चाहिए?

मैं demo में default password रखा, लेकिन मैं clearly बोलता हूँ—आपको password जरूर change करना चाहिए। आप port mapping (90 को 80 या किसी और port पर) भी अपने हिसाब से बदल सकते हैं। साथ ही volume path मैं prefer करता हूँ कि उसी application folder में रहे ताकि data व्यवस्थित रहे।

InvoiceShelf में estimation को invoice में convert कैसे करते हैं?

मैंने पहले customer और item create किया, फिर estimation बनाया। उसके बाद estimation के अंदर से “convert to invoice” करके वो automatically invoice section में चला जाता है। बस आपको save करना होता है और invoice ready हो जाता है।

InvoiceShelf में recurring invoices किस काम के लिए हैं?

अगर आप AMC या monthly billing जैसी services देते हैं जहाँ हर महीने invoice generate करना पड़ता है, तो recurring invoice feature बहुत काम आता है। आप automation के through नियमित invoices बना सकते हैं। इससे manual काम कम हो जाता है।

InvoiceShelf में payments और partial payments कैसे record करें?

Accepted Answer

Payment section में मैं invoice select करके amount, mode (cash/cheque/card/bank transfer) और details भरता हूँ। अगर customer partial payment करता है तो जितना amount भरेंगे उतना paid हो जाएगा। बाकी amount due में रह जाता है और dashboard पर साफ दिखता है।

क्या InvoiceShelf में multi-company और multi-user support है?

हाँ, मैंने दिखाया कि आप multiple companies handle कर सकते हैं। Users के लिए अलग-अलग permissions/roles भी define कर सकते हैं, जैसे default super admin role। Reports और settings में काफी customization options मिलते हैं।
